Cardi was performing on stage in Las Vegas on July 29, 2023, when a fan threw a drink at her. The infuriated rapper reacted by hurling her microphone back at the concertgoer.
In a video shared online, Cardi, dressed in an orange gown with a thigh-high slit, was seen singing close to the audience when the concertgoer tossed the liquid her way from a decorated white cup.
The rapper, who was singing “Boday Yellow,” was visibly shocked by what the fan did, and she immediately reacted by throwing her mic at the unruly concertgoer.
Security swooped in to remove the fan as Cardi shouted some inaudible words. The incident comes after singer Miranda Lambert called out fans for taking pictures while she was performing.
